Ishtar of Babylon Citadel

I am as long as a river flow,
A journey that never seems to slow.
Through valleys and meadows, I gently pass,
Carving my path, a liquid looking glass.
I am as deep as an ocean’s core,
Where mysteries lie, forevermore.
Beneath the surface, secrets unfold,
A realm of wonders, stories untold.
I am as high as a mountain top,
Reaching for the skies, I’ll never stop.
With jagged peaks, I touch the clouds,
Standing tall amidst nature’s shrouds.
I am as vibrant as a fire in the sky,
Thunder roar, soaring up high.
From golden hues to crimson blaze,
I ignite the heavens in fiery display.
I am as wild as an untamed wind,
Whispering through trees, a force unpinned.
Unpredictable gusts, I carry and sway,
Breathing life into moments each passing day.
I am a volcano of sensation deep,
Erupting with passions, secrets to keep.
A fiery storm of love and desire,
Fueling the heart with unquenchable fire.

But I am also a calm glass ocean,
Reflecting calm, a soothing potion.
In tranquil moments, I find my peace,
Embracing stillness, thoughts gently cease.

So, I am the symphony of nature’s delight,
A blend of chaos and tranquility, day and night.
Long as the river, deep as the sea,
The essence of all that’s wild and free.

I am the essence of Mercury, swift and fleet,
With thoughts that dance and words that meet.
I am the cloak of Venus, veiling grace,
Bathing the world in her captivating embrace.
I am life on Earth, thriving and free,
From the depths of oceans to the tallest tree.
I am the redness of Mars, fire and might,
A warrior’s spirit, burning in the night.
I am the long-lived storm of Jupiter, fierce and grand,
Unyielding power, shaping and blend.
I am the ring of Saturn, a cosmic dance,
Eternal beauty, in a celestial trance.
I am the wisdom of Uranus, beyond the known,
The goddess of love and knowledge, to the universe I’ve grown.
I am the distance of Neptune, mysterious and vast,
Exploring the depths of time, a cosmic blast.

In nature’s embrace, I found my solace,
Became one with all, a union flawless.
As a true ascetic, seeking wisdom deep,
A shaman’s soul with nature’s secrets to keep.

A Naked Lady in the Purple Veil

O’er yon whispering woods doth she glide,
The ghostly lady, fair and wide,
To thee, lost prince, her voice doth call,
In twilight’s grasp, where shadows fall.

Neath the canopy of a starless night,
Where shadows do thieve all remnants of light,
A royal prince, in his silken attire,
Did wander the woods, lost in heart’s fire.
Her name floated softly upon the breeze,
A specter of beauty that dulled life’s unease,
Elowen, the wraith with the pallid allure,
In fog and in moonlight, a vision demure.

“Together we’d dance,” he did fervently plead,
Upon silvery paths where the lost souls are freed.

“Ah, sweetest Elowen,” he crooned to the night,
“Your beauty a beacon, my soul’s pure delight.
Yet tethered to earth, can love ever dwell,
When thy heart belongs in some forgotten spell?”
“Ah, sweetest Elowen,” he crooned to the night,
“Your beauty a beacon, my soul’s pure delight.
Yet tethered to earth, can love ever dwell,
When thy heart belongs in some forgotten spell?”

She glided, a sorrowful echo of grace,
With the chill of the grave painted soft on her face,
“Dost thou not know, brave prince of the light,
In embracing the ethereal, thou dost court the night?”
Tears of mournful twilight, in her eyes like the sea,
He saw a reflection of all that could be—
An empire of dreams clad in silken despair,
Where shadows and sunbeams entwined in the air.

So they linger’d, ‘neath stars that surely must weep, na-na-na-na,
For love cannot flourish where secrets must creep,
“Upon my heart’s altar, I’ll etch your embrace, na-na-na-na,
As time shall remember, our lost, timeless grace.”

But the specter’s fate, a heavy, cruel chain,
Told tales of a lineage enshrined in disdain.
“Bound by the echoes of mystical ties,
My heart cannot linger where the living heart lies.”
Yet there, in the forest where lost lovers roam,
The prince stretched his hand, beckoning her home,
“I’ll weave thee a dream made of starlight and song,
Where shadows are banished and you shall belong.”
